As you may know, new requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) will take effect in February. Manufacturers, importers and retailers are expected to comply with the new Congressionally-mandated laws.
Please be assured that we are in compliance with the CPSIA. Our merchandise is being tested on an ongoing basis by accredited laboratories approved by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. We have the required Certificates of Compliance filed electronically, certifying that our company's merchandise complies with all applicable rules, bans, standards and regulations under laws administered by the CPSIA.
These mandatory testing requirements, will not affect the quality and safety of our merchandise, which has always been manufactured to exacting standards under tight controls. Our products will continue to exceed all applicable CPSC standards.
Our company is closely monitoring the CPSIA as it evolves through phased-in deadlines and comments submitted by the trade to make sure we are following all the rules and requirements of the law.
