About Us

Tatiana and Company began in 1995 as a small baby boutique in Chatham, N.J. selling, amongst other lines, charming collections from Peru. At the time, few layette lines offered entire collections in soft cotton. As a result, Tatiana and Company launched an American layette brand showcasing Peruvian Pima cotton, the world’s finest and softest fabric for babies, and the Kissy Kissy label was born.

The design focuses on the traditional layette with an innovative twist, infusing timeless details and whimsical prints in various colors. The wholesale business emerged through upscale specialty boutiques as well as private label channels.

As Tatiana and Company evolved, it unveiled more lines such as Kissy Kissy Premier, featuring delicate hand-embroideries; Besos by Kissy, consisting of hand-made Christening outfits; and Violets are Blue line of dresses to cover all areas of the infant market.

At Kissy Kissy we pride ourselves in creating quality products with infinite attention to detail, resulting in Earnie Awards for Design Excellence. Kissy Kissy's mission:Keeping babies comfortable and cute

Kissy Kissy is committed to surrounding babies everywhere with the softest, sweetest garments possible. We pride ourselves in creating quality fashions with the most loving attention to detail and innovation.

How we bring the best and softest fashions to you

Using only the finest Peruvian Pima cotton, Kissy Kissy products are well known for its trademark softness.

Pima cotton, a tropical perennial plant that originated on the Peruvian coast, was named after the Pima Indians. Due to its exceptionally long staple length, Peruvian Pima cotton is especially soft, durable, and highly resistant to pilling. It is prized the world over for its exceptional softness and brilliant luster.

With our operations in Peru, we are able to closely monitor the manufacturing process-from the cotton fabric selection to the quality control checks.

A team of local artisans-mothers and grandmothers who work at the factories or at their homes-lovingly create the hand-made embroideries that set Kissy Kissy apart from many other lines. In addition, during screen printing we transfer designs-many of which are developed from hand-painted art exclusive to Kissy Kissy-and impose them on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, creating many of our charming collections.

Helping to keep people and the world safe

Kissy Kissy garments are produced in accordance with the rules and regulations of the BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce), a business-customs partnership created to promote safe international trade in cooperation with governments and international organizations. The factory, freight forwarder and quality control company in Peru that Kissy Kissy works with all hold BASC certifications.

We believe it is important for manufacturers to abide by fair trade regulations and we will continue to do so. The fair trade movement works to ensure cotton farmers are paid a fair price, and workers are paid fair wages (rather than minimum ones) and are treated fairly.

Kissy Kissy will continue to expand and create even more styles and collections to bring our trademark softness to little ones throughout the world. In addition to our newly hatched organic line, we'll continue to do our part to keep babies stylish and comfortable, while protecting the environment and the rights of people everywhere.
